Heidi has been with the Bangor Daily News since 2005, where she started as an Inside Sales Assistant in the Advertising Dept. She has held different positions at the Bangor Daily News, including Outside Sales Media Consultant, Creative Ad Coordinator, Campaign Development Strategist and Digital Ad Operations Manager. Currently, Heidi is the Agency Operations Manager for Pulse Marketing. She graduated from the University of Maine in Orono with a degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations. She lives in Bangor with her husband and their 4 boys.

With an extensive background in B2B media, she has honed her ability to listen attentively and comprehend clients’ unique needs, all while infusing her work with a sense of fun and creativity. Julie’s true joy comes from the art of crafting a brand’s narrative and connecting with their target audience.
Over her career, Julie has successfully managed marketing campaigns across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, technology, physical security, retail, restaurants, and nonprofit organizations, among others. Her versatile experience ensures that she can adapt her strategies to suit the distinctive demands of various sectors.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Julie loves Maine and its people. Having grown up in Blue Hill, she now resides in Portland with her daughter and two hilariously entertaining labradors. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Julie’s passions extend to gardening and sailing, both of which she finds deeply rewarding. And if you ever catch her off the clock, don’t be surprised to see her on the dance floor—she’s as passionate about dancing as she is about marketing.

Jasmine is an award-winning digital marketer with over 15 years of marketing and communications experience. She holds an interdisciplinary degree in History and International Development from Trent University. In 2015, she co-founded the first B Corp Certified marketing agency in San Francisco and helped pave the way for ethical marketing practices in the Bay Area. She left the agency to focus on marketing for startups and has worked with a diverse set of industries.

In 2022, Jasmine moved to Maine and has been settling into her Victorian Farmhouse dream home. When she’s not working on marketing projects, you can find her writing children’s books, hiking the great outdoors, and teaching dance classes.

Amy turned a love of reading, writing, and art into a journalism degree from the University of Maine, where she found a passion for editorial design. Before coming to the Bangor Daily News and Pulse, she worked for almost a decade in healthcare marketing and public relations in Bangor, and prior to that as a magazine editor in New Hampshire. Amy’s now the editor and art director for Bangor Metro magazine and BDN Special Sections, and is honored to have received multiple Maine Press Association awards.

At home, Amy is mom and chauffeur to two rapidly growing kids. Her family is most often found on a soccer field or skiing peaks all over Maine. By late night, she’s a total bookworm who still loves to read under the covers and goes through a shocking number of book lights each year.

Joe brings more than 10 years of experience in web development, software engineering, and digital marketing technology to his role as Director of Digital Development. With a background spanning boutique agencies and SaaS startups in the New York City metropolitan area, he has built a career at the intersection of technical strategy, user experience, and digital performance.

At Pulse Marketing Agency, Joe leads digital development with a focus on building websites and digital solutions that are functional, scalable, and aligned with each client’s goals. His work combines technical expertise with a practical understanding of how businesses use their digital presence to connect with audiences, generate leads, and support long-term growth.

A New Jersey native, Joe moved to Maine five years ago to step away from the pace of the big city and embrace a different way of life. He loves living in Maine and is passionate about using his experience to support local businesses and help them strengthen their digital footprint.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys playing music with friends, cooking, and hiking.

Known for her exceptional ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, Laura goes above and beyond to understand and fulfill their advertising needs. Her approach is marked by innovative sales strategies that not only meet but often exceed client expectations.

Outside the professional realm, Laura finds joy and relaxation in her life in the greater Bangor area with her two daughters. Beyond her professional pursuits and family life, Laura indulges in her passion for baking during her spare time. Ben Cyr

Ben is the Manager of Ad Operations at Pulse Marketing Agency and the Bangor Daily News, where he supports digital fulfillment, campaign execution, print production, graphic design, and social media management.

He has been with the Bangor Daily News since 2010, beginning his career as a Classified Ad Sales Representative. In that role, he sold and processed classified ads and legal notices while also assisting with print subscription customer support. Over time, his role expanded into digital advertising operations, creative production, and campaign support.

Ben attended the University of Maine, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a concentration in Advertising and a minor in Graphic Design. He also holds multiple Maine Press Association awards for print ad design.

Prior to joining the Bangor Daily News and Pulse, Ben held part-time and management positions in retail for more than 12 years.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys hiking, mountain biking, bowling, board and video games, hunting, and hobby farming. He lives in Winterport with his two cats and pronounces “gif” with a hard G.

Marcie attended both New England School of Communications and University of Maine at Augusta. Marcie has more than 20 years of graphic design experience. She began her career in television as a director and graphic designer for newscasts, where she worked for many years. Marcie has owned her own local promotional products and design business, freelanced graphic design services, and held the title of Digital Media Coordinator at a hospital on the coast of Maine prior to joining Bangor Daily News in 2014.

In 2019, she began working for both the Bangor Daily News and Pulse Marketing Agency on digital and print projects. Marcie is passionate about advertising and graphic design, and feels fortunate that she’s able to spend everyday doing what she loves as a career.  Marcie has received many Maine Press Association Awards. In her free time she is a music enthusiast, and lives with her husband, children and pets in the Bangor area.

With a natural ability to build relationships, communicate clearly, and stay organized in fast-moving environments, Brandi helps clients feel supported, heard, and connected throughout the marketing process.

Having navigated the ever-changing rhythm of military life while raising three daughters, Brandi has learned how to connect quickly, solve problems creatively, and bring steady leadership to dynamic situations. Her journey has taken her across the U.S. and abroad, including Louisiana, North Carolina, Texas, Germany, and Wyoming, where she built lasting friendships and communities wherever life landed her.

That same commitment to connection carries into her professional approach. Brandi is passionate about understanding people, asking thoughtful questions, and helping clients move from ideas to action. Her background in service and community-building includes coaching international U18 softball teams and hosting international softball tournaments while living overseas. Her volunteer leadership has also been recognized through multiple military awards for service and community impact.

Brandi is currently working toward a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University, after previously exploring a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. This combination reflects her interest in both strategy and advocacy, especially when it comes to supporting veterans, active-duty military members, and their families.

Outside of work, Brandi enjoys cooking, teaching, singing, and gaming, including family Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. She believes great marketing starts with strong relationships, clear communication, and good storytelling, and she brings that energy to every client partnership.

Zachary Breton

Zachary Breton is a proud Maine native who brings a strategic, data-informed perspective to his role as an Account Manager at Pulse Marketing Agency. A 2022 graduate of Framingham State University, Zach earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Communications, building a strong foundation in both audience strategy and client communication.

Before stepping into account management, Zach gained more than three years of marketing experience with a focus on SEO and digital strategy. He has worked with both a life sciences marketing agency in New Hampshire and a sustainability agency based in The Netherlands, where he developed a thoughtful, results-driven approach to helping organizations strengthen their digital presence.

At Pulse, Zach combines his technical marketing background with a strong sense of organization, curiosity, and client service. He helps clients understand how their marketing efforts work together, translates goals into actionable next steps, and keeps projects moving with clarity and purpose.

Outside of work, Zach balances a wide range of interests, including video games, working out, training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and continuing his journey toward fluency in Portuguese. He also maintains an expert-level knowledge of geography and is always looking for new ways to learn, grow, and challenge himself.

Whether he is digging into campaign performance, supporting client strategy, or reading on the treadmill, Zach brings focus, discipline, and a genuine curiosity to everything he does.

While serving in an IT helpdesk role for several years, he honed his problem-solving skills and deepened his understanding of digital infrastructure. Upon completing his graphic design degree at Husson University, Nate transitioned into working in web design, where he now applies his expertise to create visually engaging and highly functional websites.

With a detail-oriented approach and a keen eye for aesthetics, Nate is dedicated to building seamless digital experiences that align with client goals. His ability to blend technical proficiency with creative design ensures that every website is both intuitive and impactful. Nate’s strong organizational skills and commitment to clear communication help keep projects on track, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional results.

Callie began her creative journey at the University of Maine at Presque Isle studying Fine/Studio Arts. She later transferred to Eastern Maine Community College graduating with a degree in Digital Arts and Photography. Callie has been working as a Graphic Designer for 10 years, creating both print and digital products for clients. Callie also loves being creative in her spare time with drawing, painting, and flipping furniture. She is also a lover of animals, and enjoys riding and competing with her horse, Little. Growing up, Callie was involved with 4-H and continues to do so by being a member of the Penobscot 4-H Leaders program.

Rainee Romero is a native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she currently still resides. She graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor’s in English, and a minor in Journalism. After graduation, she spent 10 years in various marketing roles at WBTW News13,  the local CBS Affiliate. While there she was given her own lifestyle show to produce, host, and edit called “Living Local Carolina” which was centered around history, amusements, nonprofits, and getting to know people and businesses in her area. It was during this show that she interviewed the owners of an up-and-coming law firm in the area who asked if she would become their marketing director. Rainee spent two years with The Lovely Law Firm incorporating video elements like a YouTube show, podcasts, live interviews, as well as upping their social media, pr, and community presence. Rainee is now elated to be working as a Content Writer for Pulse Marketing Agency, as she loves to be able to storytell and create personal connections through writing and expression. In her free time she loves to dance! She and her husband own an adult dance studio specializing in latin dance and hip hop. The two have four children together and love to travel, be outdoors, and spend quality time with family.

Dylan Savageau

Born and raised in Maine, Dylan brings a diverse background and creative mindset to the marketing world. As a singer/songwriter who has toured with original music, he has firsthand experience in branding, promotion, and audience engagement. His passion for the music industry extends beyond performing, having sold merchandise for multiple touring bands and music-related companies, as well as creating social media content for musicians and bands—including his own project, The Banner Year, for which he helped build a successful LLC.

Before diving into the marketing world, Dylan developed a strong work ethic across multiple trades, starting at age 14. From crafting baseball bats for the MLB and MiLB to working as a machinist, residential arborist, custom woodworker, and automotive technician and trainer, his hands-on experience has shaped a unique problem-solving approach that translates seamlessly into strategy, and fulfillment.

Outside of work, you’ll find Dylan exploring Maine’s great outdoors, whether it’s hunting, fishing, scouting, hiking, or crafting custom lures and flies. He’s also an avid baseball player and guitarist, always looking for new ways to blend creativity with his passions.

David Namwira is a passionate and versatile creative professional with a rich background in graphic design, videography, and multimedia production. With a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design and a Certificate in Audio Engineering from the New England School of Communication at Husson University, where he graduated with a stellar 3.937 GPA, David brings both academic excellence and practical expertise to every project.

Throughout his career, David has showcased his ability to tell compelling stories through visuals and audio. From freelancing as a videographer and photographer to serving as a Creative Director and Graphic Designer. He has led projects that combine innovative design with meaningful narratives. His technical proficiency spans industry-standard tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud, DaVinci Resolve, Blender, and Microsoft Office.

David’s portfolio highlights his deep commitment to connecting with audiences, whether producing songs and music videos in collaboration with his sisters, recording family histories through interviews with senior citizens, or creating captivating visual campaigns for agencies.

His international experience, including his early academic journey in Computer Science of Management at the Institut Supérieur Pédagogique de Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, adds a unique global perspective to his work.

Fluent in French and Swahili, David is not only a skilled designer but also a cultural bridge, capable of adapting his artistry to diverse audiences. Driven by a love for storytelling, illustration, video production, and music, he continues to push creative boundaries while delivering exceptional results.

When he’s not designing or filming, David enjoys exploring new creative projects and connecting with others who share his passion for impactful multimedia experiences.
