Befriend your social media. During the holidays, more people use social media than any other time of the year to keep track of all of the festivities. Social media is a great place to post festive photos of your staff, your business’ holiday décor, your community activities, and office celebrations. These visuals will not only catch the eye, but the heart of your clients as they will relate to them. The relational nature of social media gives you a place to visibly acknowledge the success of your clients and the helpfulness of your staff.
Show appreciation for your employees. Let’s face it, the success of every company if heavily dependent on its employees. Don’t be shy to publicly show your appreciation for your employees contributions. Even on a tight budget, every business should be able to afford a year-end gathering solely focused on employee appreciation.
Show appreciation for your clients. A new year holds the promise of change and progress. This time of the year most businesses begin working on their new marketing strategy and budgeting for the next year. Take advantage of this mind set and provide your clients with a year-end report of all services provided and how your services or products helped them succeed. Provide them with a list of suggestions for the new year. Take them out for lunch, show your appreciation for their business, and leave them excited with ideas for a successful new year. Make sure to schedule a follow-up meeting for the beginning of January, so you can solidify the plans for the new year.
‘Tis the season for giving back. If your business is involved with a charitable organization, it can reflect well on your values to your clients. Sharing photographs or other social media posts about your charitable contributions not only benefits your community but your brand as well.
B2B marketing is about engaging your clients no matter what time of year it is.
