Pulse Marketing Agency Sets an Example for Giving Back With a Twist

Pulse Marketing Agency ends a year of giving back to the community by sponsoring the Festival of Lights Parade and Christmas dinners for Manna Ministries, Bangor Area Homeless Shelter, Ronald McDonald House, and Sarah’s House – using their marketing budget for the month of December to fund it.

(Bangor, ME) December 3, 2015—Pulse Marketing Agency announced that it will be following its tradition of giving back to the community this holiday season by sponsoring the Festival of Lights Parade on December 5th and Christmas dinners for multiple, local nonprofit organizations.

Of the agency’s commitment to giving back to the Bangor area community, Pulse Marketing Agency founder and president, Cíntia Miranda said, “We are committed to helping the community that supports us. We also want to set an example for other small businesses to give back any way they can, especially during the holidays.” Cíntia adds, “We know it’s hard for small businesses to find funds for charity.  In our case, we are using our own marketing budget for the month of December to fund our giving, and we encourage other businesses to consider similar actions when possible.  It may seem contradictory, coming from a marketing agency, to encourage businesses to donate a portion of their marketing funds, but we feel that it’s important to contribute to the betterment of our community.”

On Saturday, December 5th, Pulse Marketing Agency will not only be sponsoring the Festival of Lights Parade in downtown Bangor, but the Pulse team will also have a float and march in the parade. On Monday, December 21st, the Pulse Marketing Agency team will be personally delivering the ingredients for a holiday dinner to Manna Ministries and the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter, and homemade meals for the guests staying at Sarah’s House and the Ronald McDonald House to enjoy.

In 2015, Pulse Marketing Agency helped many other nonprofit organizations with pro-bono services adding up to nearly $20,000.00. Recipients of in-kind marketing services and volunteer hours from the Pulse team include the United Way of Eastern Maine, Fusion Bangor, Bangor Land Trust, Bangor Area Children’s Choir, Sarah’s House, Rotary Club of Bangor, SCORE, Bangor Area Chamber of Commerce, Tuesday Forum, and many others.
