Cíntia is a high-performance, motivated, and energetic professional with nearly two decades of marketing experience in the U.S. and abroad. As the agency founder, Cíntia has built her reputation as a knowledgeable, versatile, and respectful marketing professional who provides sound strategic advice to small, medium, and large organizations. She believes in a customer-centric business model and excels in providing her clients with impeccable customer service at all times.
Prior to founding Pulse Marketing Agency, Cíntia successfully led the marketing initiatives for paid publications and distance learning products for SAP and IBM worldwide while at Wellesley Information Services (WIS), led the marketing for Blackwell Publishing CME courses in the U.S. and South America while at Informa, PLC, and directed the Marketing and Publications Department for Cambridge College. Cíntia taught marketing and management classes at the New England School of Communications at Husson University in the past, and currently teaches marketing courses at the University of Maine Business School in Orono.
Cíntia is also an avid volunteer – she is the past chairwoman of both Downeast Maine SCORE and Bangor SCORE Chapters and served as a business mentor and workshop coordinator at both chapters. She’s the chair of the marketing committee at the Bangor Rotary Club, and serves on the boards of the Maine Multicultural Center and the Charlotte White Center. Cíntia is a dedicated pro-bono contributor to a variety of community projects. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Management, and an MBA in Marketing, both from the University of Massachusetts at Boston.
Sean is in charge of technology, resources management, and finance. His main role is to facilitate transparency of financial performance to the managers by providing sound analysis of productivity to drive growth.
Sean is also a full time pharmacist at Hannaford Pharmacy. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts at Boston.
Ally holds an MBA from Husson University and a bachelor’s degree in media studies from the New England School of Communications at Husson University, with a concentration in marketing communications. She has thorough knowledge in the research, development, and implementation of marketing strategy, as well as experience in graphic design, video, photography, and web design.
Ally manages the marketing department and oversees the successful implementation of our clients’ campaigns. She is also in charge of executing the marketing programs for Pulse’s largest clients, including monthly campaigns for Bangor Federal Credit Union and an ongoing inbound marketing strategy for Numberall. Ally’s roles at Pulse have included marketing research and planning, content writing, direct marketing, social media marketing and advertising, and brand development.
Ally is dedicated to maintaining the integrity of each client’s brand in all of our marketing initiatives and offers outstanding customer service and support to all of our clients. She is a terrific marketer and highly respected by our clients and partners.
Cam holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications from Bentley University. Cam is in charge of business development efforts at Pulse and works closely with managers on the team to help streamline communication efforts between clients and the Agency. Additionally, Cam works on proposals and reporting deliverables for clients. Prior to joining Pulse, Cam held positions within the hospitality and software industries in Boston. He brings to the team in-depth knowledge of Google advertising and reporting products, and online marketing tools in general.
Branin holds a bachelor’s degree in Graphic and Web Design from The New England Institute of Art. He is passionate about creating compelling branding, graphics, and experiences for print and web.
In his time at Pulse, Branin has designed print collateral for some our largest clients, such as Bangor Federal Credit Union, Bangor Natural Gas, BASWG, Hero's Sports Grill, Beal's Lobster Pier, the Maine Tourism Association, Numberall, and Unity College. He also developed fully responsive websites for Bangor Water, Penquis, OnPoint Solutions, Designing Fitness, The Northeastern Workforce Development Board, Lupine Meadows, and our very own 2017 Pulse website. Branin has directed numerous video productions and motion graphics for Bangor Federal Credit Union and Healthy Communities of the Capital Area, and animated a whiteboard time-lapse for Unity College.
In addition to creating branding materials and websites, Branin has a background in fine art, photography, and music composition.
Ian Lusk is our Graphic and Web Designer/Developer responsible for building new websites, updating legacy websites with new features, and keeping our hosting customer's websites up-to-date with the latest software and security patches. Ian also works with our clients to create beautiful graphic design solutions for their logos, general branding needs, advertisements, and other print collateral.
Ian is a graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor's degree in New Media, and has 11 years of experience working in the marketing and web development industries serving clients ranging from small businesses and entrepreneurs, to large public universities and international 501(c)(3) charity organizations.
Shelby holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Journalism from the University of Maine.
As Pulse’s Project Manager, Shelby establishes timelines, tasks, and milestones for our marketing projects. She also creates and maintains project documentation, leads project kick-off meetings with clients, maintains schedules to ensure projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner, fields communication with and questions from clients, and works closely with the marketing director to manage client accounts.
Shelby is also responsible for creating strategic and engaging content for our clients in a variety of industries. Prior to joining Pulse, Shelby worked as a journalist with a local newspaper.
As the bookkeeper at Pulse, Debbie assists Cintia and Sean with the financial aspects of the business. She’s in charge of accounts payables, receivables, and payroll. Debbie holds a bachelor’s degree in public accounting from Husson University and has many years of accounting experience in a variety of industries.
Chris is a recent graduate from the University of Maine with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and History. As a marketing assistant at Pulse, Chris focuses on social media marketing and is currently learning the secrets of graphic design and search engine optimization. Prior to working at Pulse, Chris was an AmeriCorps service member for a non-profit in Bangor.
Isabel is Cintia and Sean's daughter. She grew up spending after school hours at Pulse and used to spend her time at the office drawing and awarding the staff with stickers and play-dough art. In 2016 she officially became an employee. Isabel helps the team with a variety of tasks, from cleaning and organizing the office, to data entry, filing, and other administrative activities. Isabel loves to snack on animal crackers and leave random jokes and drawings on white boards around the office.
